Introducing the 4/0 Red/Yellow Rock Cod Feather Rigs, 10 packs of which are available. These rigs are designed specifically for catching rockfish and are highly effective at doing so. To use them, simply attach enough weight to the snap swivel so that the rig can be lowered all the way to the bottom. For optimal results, we recommend using a lead or metal bar type jig as your weight, or alternatively, you can attach small pieces of squid directly to the hooks themselves. The most effective technique for inducing strikes is a slow, vertical jigging motion.

These rigs are widely popular among anglers from Mexico to the Pacific Northwest and Florida all the way up through Canada. They are commonly used for vertically jigging cod, rockfish, batfish, smelt, croaker, and similar species of fish.
